Mark D. Lockhart, 46, 442 West Ave., Apt. 7, was charged around 10:45 p.m. Saturday with second-degree harassment. According to the LPD arrest report, Lockhart punched a man in the face. He is slated for City Court on Aug. 12.
A 16-year-old East High Street male was charged around 12:15 p.m. Saturday with third-degree assault, third-degree menacing, and obstruction of breathing. According to the arrest report, the teen struck a female in the face with an open hand, put his hands around her neck until she couldn’t breathe, then struck her in the back of the head with a closed fist. The teen is slated for City Court Monday morning.
Ernest P. Friend, Jr., 34, 74 Allen St., was charged around 3:20 a.m. Saturday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to signal, having an open alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle, and unattended vehicle. According to the LPD arrest report, Friend was stopped for a traffic infraction after police had seen his vehicle outside a Pine Street business running unattended. It was determined that he was driving with a suspended license. Police also found an open can of beer in the vehicle. He is slated for City Court on Aug. 12.
Clyde J. Wofford, 60, 6366 Woodlawn Dr., was charged around 1:15 a.m. Saturday with DWI, a lane violation, speeding, failure to signal, and unlawful possession of marijuana. According to the arrest report, Wofford was seen committing several traffic infractions on South Transit Road. When he was pulled over, he was determined to be intoxicated. While searching the vehicle, police found marijuana. He is slated for City Court on Aug. 12.
Michael Henderson, 36, 200 Erie St., was charged around 12:36 a.m. Saturday with seventh-degree possession of a controled substance, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of marijuana, prescriptions out of original container, and two equipment violations. According to the LPD report, Henderson was stopped for a traffic offense and found to have suspected marijuana an prescription medication. He was also found to be driving with a suspended license. He is due in City Court on Aug. 12.
Marcus A. Vines, 37, 6598 Dysinger Road., Apt. 17, was charged around 7:20 p.m. Friday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to use a turn signal. According to LPD, Vines was stopped for a traffic infraction and found to be driving with a suspended license. He is slated for City Court on Aug. 12.
Tyler M. Moore, 22, 3533 Palmer Road, Ransomville, was charged around 1:35 a.m. Friday with seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, use of an other vehicle, prohibited sale of alcohol, and an equipment violation. According to the LPD report, Moore was stopped for an equipment violation and found to be driving with a revoked license. During inventory of the car, police found medications and open alcohol containers in the back seat. The vehicle’s two passengers were both under 21. Moore is slated for City Court on Aug. 12.
