East Niagara Post publishes an average of about a dozen stories a day, every day, seven days a week.

This morning's daily email update from East Niagara Post.

Due to bizarre algorithms set up by social media companies, sometimes social media followers only see a handful of those posts, missing out on important news and local commentary. Some of our posts never get shared to social media at all.

So if you're one who likes to stay on top of the news, be sure to subscribe to our daily email update. Each morning — sometime around 7 a.m. — we send out an email with a listing and brief description of the previous 24 hour's posts, allowing you to start your day in the know.

Of course, we want you to follow us on Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and everywhere else. But we want to make sure you're not missing anything.

If you want up-to-the minute breaking news, our ENP Mobile App for Android is where it's at. We won't bombard you with push notifications about mundane stuff, but we will let you know when something important happens — as it's happening.

To subscribe to the daily email update, send an email to news@eastniagarapost.com with the subject line "Update." To download the ENP Mobile App for Android, click here. For those of you on iOS and Kindle devices, don't fret, we're getting to you.

While the daily news is, of course, important, ENP will also be releasing some important announcements in the not-too-distant future (including some cool giveaways) and we just don't want you to miss out.

+Scott Leffler is the news editor for East Niagara Post. Contact him by email at scott.leffler@eastniagarapost.com.
