ENP STAFF REPORTS

NEWFANE — A Lockport-Olcott Road man told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies on Thursday that someone damaged his vehicle with a beer bottle.
The man said that around 10:30 a.m., he heard what appeared to be an after-market exhaust of a vehicle leave the front of his residence at a high rate of speed. When he went outside to investigate, he found broken glass from a Labatt Blue beer bottle in his driveway. The complainant also noticed a large dent on the passenger side of his vehicle.
Patrol observed the damage and the broken glass. "It appeared an unknown suspect threw the beer bottle and struck the victim's truck causing the dent," according to the NCSO report.
