GASPORT — The annual Salt and Light Festival kicks off tonight with a movie — "The Identical" — and a special guest appearance by the film's author.
Most of the fun of the yearly religious festival will be held Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. Events include a craft show, bake sale, classic cars, basket auction, Wild Kritters and Jay the Reptile Guy from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. There will also be youth food concessions beginning at 10:30 a.m., kids games and activities beginning at 11 a.m., a Chiavetta chicken BBQ from noon to 4 p.m., music by Puneet Jacob at noon and Art Huntington at 2 p.m., a concert dedication at 5 p.m. and Elvis Wade at 6 p.m.
Sunday, there will be a morning worship service led by Wade and Sandra Posey at 10:30 a.m., as well as an evening gospel service at 5 p.m.
