The driver of a truck who tried to pass a Town of Lockport crane on Stone Road crashed into the crane "like a 100-year-old oak," according to one witness to the scene. "It didn’t move and the truck just crunched."
The driver complained of a hand injury and some chest pain. Wrights Corners EMS responded to the scene to check him out.
The Niagara County Sheriffs Office is handling the accident report. No names have been released.
While the truck had major front-end damage, the crane suffered very little in the form of damage. |
