ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
APPLETON — The Winery at Marjim Manor will host a "Taste and Paint" session at 7 p.m. Tuesday led by artist Teri Seddon.
A fine art painter, Teri’s studies have included coursework at the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston and the University of North Texas. She also studied with renowned portrait painter George Palmer, giving her a wealth of experience to bring to the class.
Over the past six months, guests have painted sunsets, swans, bluebirds, trees, garden paths, calla lilies and sailing. Tuesday's painting will be a Lighthouse In the Buffalo Harbor.
Each month the class learns new brush strokes, new ways of handling and guiding the brushes. When asked about the classes, guests were enthusiastic. Many return every month, some have brought friends. Most recently, they shared ideas for future paintings. After each class, the Winery at Marjim Manor staff post pictures on their Facebook page.
Tickets may be purchased for Tuesday's session online at www.MarjimManor.com or by calling the winery at 778-7001.
