Demetrius Grant

With a day and a half of voting remaining, Demetrius Grant and Lea Sobieraski have decisive leads in their categories in the Mr. and Miss Lockport voting on Facebook.

Grant has 748 votes — 279 more than the next closest male in the competition, Josh Incardona. Soberiaski, meanwhile, has a 172-vote lead over Lyndsey Lou Devine. The male and female with the most votes at the end of Tuesday will represent Lockport for the city's nine-day Sesquicentennial Celebration from June 27 - July 5.

To cast a vote in the competition, Facebook users are asked to "like" the Lockport 150 Facebook page, share the page publicly and then then "like" the photo/post belonging to whomever they select.

Since the voting went live on Tuesday, over 3,200 votes have been cast.
