West Main Street will be closed beginning Wednesday for approximately one week to finish road repair.
According to the Lockport Police Department, the closure will affect both lanes of the road from North Transit Street to the Big Bridge. Sidewalks, however, will be passable.
LPD Capt. Mike Niethe said the work will begin with laying concrete Wednesday and will conclude with binder and a final coat next week.
