NIAGARA FALLS — The second annual Vines & Wines to be held today to benefit the Opportunities Unlimited horticulture program and its participants with intellectual and other developmental disabilities.

Opportunities Unlimited horticulture participants hail from across Niagara County.

The event, to be held from 3 - 8 p.m. at the Merani Hotel Group’s Four Points by Sheraton, 7001 Buffalo Ave., costs $25 at the door. Admission includes: wine tasting and one sheet of tickets for an imaginative home, interiors, sports and gardening-themed auction. There will also be high-end and silent auctions, wine raffle, chocolate tastings from Jacolatte and a cash bar.

Participating wineries include Vizcarra Vineyards and Arrowhead Spring Vineyards. National Garden Expert David Clark will present organic growing tips and will raffle a personal landscape consultation.
