ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
A pair of North Transit Street women were charged this morning with gang assault, accused of attacking a woman at a Heath Street bar in early March.
According to the Lockport Police Department arrest reports, Adrien N. Criswell, 30; and Christina M. Criswell, 28, both of 191 North Transit St., were arraigned in City Court this morning on charges of second-degree gang assault and second-degree assault.
A female told police that she was attacked with a noxious spray at the "J Club" on March 8, causing her to have difficultly breathing and being unable to see. While she was unable to see, she was struck and kicked by multiple parties, she told police.
"The victim believes she lost consciousness and remembers waking up and walking into the emergency room," the report said.
The Criswell's turned themselves in this morning, according to LPD. A Niagara Falls woman is facing charges from the incident as well, but appears not to have been charged as of this evening.
