Henry J. Brummer of Newfane, husband on Jorene Bos Brummer entered into rest suddenly on Tuesday May 5, 2015 in Lockport, NY.

He was born in Babylon, Long Island on December 10, 1938. The son of the late John H. and Emma Andersen Brummer. Hank graduated from Babylon High School in 1957.  Hank served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1959 – 1961 on the CG Cutter Androscoggin. He married Jorene Bos in 1969 and moved to Newfane, NY. Hank was co-owner, builder and former President of Newfane Pro-Am. He used to race stock cars in Florida and enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to yard sales, NASCAR, the New York Yankees and especially spending time with his family.

Father of Henry J. (Julie Seitz) Brummer Jr. and Martin (Stephanie) Brummer both of Newfane, NY. Grandfather of Tiffany, Tyler and Brayden. Brother of Margaret MacFarlane, Ruth (Ron) Miller, Fred (Cathi) Brummer and John (Bernadette) Brummer all of Florida. Brother in law of Richard (Kathleen) Bos of Lewiston, NY. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY 14108 on FRIDAY from 3 – 7PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated SATURDAY at 10 AM at St. Brendan on the Lake (St. Bridget’s) 3455 Ewings Rd. Newfane, NY. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery.
