ONEONTA — Jennifer Rushlow of Gasport has been inducted into the SUNY Oneonta Chapter of Omicron Delta Kappa, a national leadership honor society.
Invitation to apply for membership to the exclusive honor society is based on recommendation, junior or senior standing and an overall grade-point average of 3.0 or better.
Selection is based on a demonstrated record of scholarship and leadership activity on campus in one or more of the following areas: athletics; campus and community service; social and religious activities; campus government; journalism, speech and mass media; and creative and performing arts.
SUNY Oneonta has been named to Kiplinger's list of "100 Best Values in Public Colleges" for nine consecutive years, was ranked No. 2 on the 2014 Kiplinger's list of "10 Best Public Colleges With Lowest Debt at Graduation" and sits at No. 9 on the 2015 U.S. News and World Report list of the best public institutions in the region. The college enrolls 6,000 students in its 70 undergraduate majors and 14 graduate programs.
