A Lockport woman and a Holley man were charged by New York State Police over the weekend with driving while intoxicated.
County-wide, NYSP arrested three for DWI during a series of stationary and roving road checks between Saturday and Sunday morning.
Melissa J. Hicks, 33 of Lockport, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, having a controlled substance in a non-original container, and drugged driving in addition to the DWI. She was issued an appearance ticket and uniform traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Lockport Court on April 30.
William J. McAllister, 60 of Holley, was charged with improper signal and following too closely in addition to his DWI charge. He is due in Lockport City Court on April 21.
