HARTLAND — A 24-year-old Gasport man and a 26-year-old Hartland woman were charged Wednesday with grand larceny by New York State Police.
According to NYSP, Ryan M. Petersen and Mellissa A. Walker stole items from a Hartland rental property. The stolen items were discovered missing when the owner went to retrieve two backhoe buckets that were stored on his property. Investigation revealed approximate total value $1,300.00. Further investigation led Troopers to Peterson and Walker.
The pair were subsequently arrested and processed at SP Lockport. They were arraigned in the Town of Hartland Court and remanded to Niagara County Jail on $1,000 bail. They are scheduled to reappear on Tuesday.
