ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
NEWFANE — Niagara County Sheriff's deputies responded to a Friday morning complaint by a Chestnut Road man of people on snowmobiles trespassing on his property.
The complainant told patrol that two snowmobiles drove through his front and side yards between 6 and 8 p.m. Thursday despite several "no trespassing" signs posted on his property.
The complainant said he is worried that his dog might get hit by someone snowmobiling on his property, as well as damage done to the property.
Patrol told the man that periodic checks would be done throughout the evening and for the days to come. Patrol also advised that the afternoon and day shift will be notified and checks will be requested.
