ENP STAFF REPORTS

TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A Day Road resident told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies that someone damaged the front door of his home.
The man said that sometime between 1:30 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. Sunday, someone banged on the lower quarter panel of his exterior door, causing damage to the trim surrounding it.
There was no other damage or pry marks, so it is unknown whether the unknown person intended to make entry into the home or just cause damage. The man said his son "has problems with ex-girlfriends, so he wouldn't be surprised if one of the ex-girlfriends showed up at the house and began kicking the door."
The approximate cost of damage to the door is $100. This investigation is closed pending new information.

Maybe it was the bear that's been seen in the area.
