About two dozen crafters and vendors were available, each offering their own niche products running the gamut from hair clips and bracelets to ink drawings and books.
+Melanie Schulz was on hand with her first six books, the latest of which, 2084, was released in December. The Lockport author said she is currently working on her seventh novel, which she hopes to release later this year.
+Brianne Gertin made the trek from Rochester to sell jewelry and decor made from recycled books, while Denise Ioviero came from Cheektowaga to sell little girls' hair accessories, and Dan Doro of Barker was there with handcrafted concrete bowls and drawings.
The many patrons who braved the still below-freezing temperatures, meandered around the vendor show, stopping at each booth, talking with the vendors. Many took a moment to order a snack or a bowl of soup from the kitchen.
In addition to crafts and vendors, the show offered a basket raffle with proceeds going to Lockport Care Net Pregnancy Center.
The show had a steady crowd all day long. |
