TOWN OF LOCKPORT — An Academy Lane resident reported to Niagara County Sheriff's deputies that a vehicle ran into his mailbox and garage Sunday night.
According to the NCSO report, the damage occurred around 8:05 p.m. when the vehicle struck and destroyed his mailbox, as well as that of a neighbor. It also ran into his garage.
The complainant did not see the vehicle, but the right mirror was left behind by the unknown red colored car. The vehicle could not be located. The cost of repair to the mailbox is valued at $50.
