A New York State Police Trooper was charged with driving while intoxicated around 1:40 a.m. after a traffic stop by LPD.
According to a press release sent by LPD Chief Larry Eggert this afternoon, Robert Turnbull, an off-duty member of the New York State Police, was determined to be intoxicated after he was stopped for erratic driving.
Turnbull was also charged with unreasonable speed, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, unsafe passing, and refusal to submit to a pre-screening test.
