ROYALTON — A pair of Lockport men told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies that someone emptied the home that had belonged to their late father of several items.
One of the men stated that their father did not have a will when he passed, so his family members were having a "free for all" with the items in the residence. He told patrol that he also used to live at the residence and provided a list of items that belonged to him that were stolen from the residence.
The list included a GE gas stove, a Kenmore dryer, two male bicycles, a Craftsman compressor, a Murry push mower, a Makita power drill, other assorted tools, a deep fryer, a pellet gun and a clay target thrower. In all, the items were worth $2,160.
