Lorraine “Tish” Gooding of Burt, wife of the late Faber M. Gooding entered into rest on Monday February 9, 2015 in Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital.

Tish was born on July 24, 1931 in Newfane, NY. Daughter of the late Dudley and Leah Wiseman Smith. Tish and Faber were married on February 21, 1955; he passed away on February 4, 2013. Tish was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church, Church Women’s Guild, Card Club and Silver Bells Extension Group. She enjoyed working at the Church Store and traveling.

Mother of Peter (Julie) Gooding of Olcott, NY, Robert (Elaine) Gooding of Fairfax, VA, Richard (Stephanie) Gooding of Barker, NY, Susan (Daniel) Morey of Grand Island, NY and the late Sally Gooding Reinhardt. Sister of Merle (Helen) Smith, Helen (Vance) Taylor, Joan (Charles) Muisiner all of Ridgewood, NY and the late Doris Stout. Mother in law of Butch Reinhardt of Newfane, NY. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at St. Andrews Episcopal Church on SATURDAY at 11AM. Burial will be held in Lakeview Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
