NEWFANE — A Ketchum Avenue man told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies on Friday that someone entered his unlocked vehicle and stole several items.
The man said items taken included keys, CDs, a cell-phone charger, two jackets and a pair of pants. The theft occurred late Thursday or early Friday.
The man told patrol that a maintenance man at Eastern Niagara Hospital-Newfane had recovered several items which had been thrown into a dumpster, including the CDs, jackets and pants.
Patrol was checking surveillance cameras outside the hospital for possible suspect images as the investigation continues.
