WRIGHTS CORNERS — Niagara County Sheriff's deputies were called to tops early Monday morning for a report of a customer who stole a bundle of wood.
According to the NCSO report, the man purchased a couple of items from the store around 2:58 a.m. He then grabbed a bundle of wood, valued at $6.29, on his way out. He had not purchased the wood.
Tops officials declined to press charges on the man, who left before patrol arrived, but did ask that he not be allowed to return to the store.
