Melvin U. Darrell, 36, 6559 Lincoln Place., Apt. C, was charged around 9:15 p.m. Thursday with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, driving without a valid inspection sticker, and an equipment violation. According to the LPD report, Darrell was stopped on Davison Road for an equipment violation and found to be driving without a valid license or inspection. He is slated to appear in City Court on Wednesday.
Vivian P. Curry, 20, 12503 Versailles Plank Road, Lawtons, was charged around 7:28 p.m. Wednesday with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and an equipment violation. According to the LPD report, Curry was stopped for an equipment violation on East Avenue and found to be driving without a license. She is due in City Court on Monday.
Michael D. Niles, 22, 408 Walnut St., was charged around 1:49 p.m. Wednesday with fourth-degree criminal mischief. According to the LPD arrest report, Niles was making a loud banging noise inside a secured holding room in the Lockport City Court. He was asked to stop, but refused to do so. According to the report, he made a hole in the drywall with his head. The damages were estimated at $200. He was slated to return to court this morning.
