TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A Locust Street Extension man told Niagara County Sheirff's deputies Tuesday morning that an unknown person had slashed two tires on his vehicle.
The man said the incidents happened on seperate occasions, the first of which was noticed on Jan. 21. He got the tire repaired and bought a new set of tires for the vehicle. Then on Sunday, he saw that the left rear tire was flat. It had a slash mark on it, just as the previous tire had.
The man told patrol that he keeps his vehicle parked in his driveway, along with the vehicles of other family members. None of their vehicles had been damaged, though.
The cost of damage to the two tires is approximately $300.
This investigation is closed pending new information.
