NEWFANE — The owner of a bicycle reported stolen last week found the bike in the yard of a Jacques Road home.
According to the NCSO report, the 24-inch Mongoose mountain bike matched the description of the one reported stolen. When patrol asked the tenant of the Jacques Road home about the bike, he said he did not know how it ended up on his property and believed it should be returned to its owner.
The bicycle was then recovered by NCSO and returned to the owner, who did not want any charges filed. Case Closed.
