TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A Robinson Road resident told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies on Saturday that someone damaged his car while it was parked in the lot overnight.

Patrol found damage on the right rear end of the vehicle, the tail light cover was broken, there was plastic from it on the ground and there was dented metal and scrapes along side of the rear side. From the damage, it appeared that unknown person damaged the vehicle and then left the scene. The damage was estimated at $300. The damage appeared to be caused from another vehicle striking it, but there were no witness to the incident.

The complainant said that he last saw the vehicle undamaged around 11 p.m. Friday.
