BUFFALO -- Scoring two goals per period, the Buffalo Sabres found their offense tonight at First Niagara Center, beating the Toronto Maple Leafs 6-2.

Tyler Ennis started the scoring for Buffalo, scoring on a wrist shot with help from Drew Stafford and Matt Moulson at 15:40 of the first period. Zemgus Girgensons made it 2-0 Sabres at 18:33 with assists by Brian Flynn and Tyson Strachan.

In the second, Stafford made it 3-0 Sabres at 7:10, assisted on his wrist shot by Nicolas Deslauriers and Andrej Meszaros. Toronto tallied thier first goal at 18:41 with a tip in by David Clarkson on a Cody Franson shot, assisted by Nazem Kadri. Moulson put the Sabres back up by 3 at 18:57 with assists by Ennis and Mike Weber. Phil Kessel made it 4-2 with a goal at 19:41. James van Riemsdyk and Morgan Rielly assisted on the goal.

In the third period, Tyler Myers made it 5-2 at 1:10 on a wrist shot. Moulson and Ennis got the assists. Girgensons wrapped up the scoring with a backhhand shot at 4:42, assisted by Cody McCormick.

The Sabres next game is at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at home against the San Jose Sharks.
