ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
Pick-up hockey starts tonight at Cornerstone CFCU Arena.
Tonight and every Friday going forward, adults will be able to play hockey from 10:10 - 11:30 p.m.
Full equipment is required. The cost is $10 per skater, but goalies play for free.
An announcement on public skating is expected to be made by the arena soon.
An announcement on the first Lockport Express home game is also forthcoming. A game is currently scheduled for Nov. 14 at the arena. That game had originally been scheduled for Oct. 18, but was rescheduled due to problems with a condenser in the arena, which has since been resolved.
Men's and youth hockey leagues started this past weekend but registration is still open. The arena's learn-to-skate program also started Saturday, but sign-ups are still being accepted.
