ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
TOWN OF LOCKPORT — The Niagara County Sheriff's Office will recognize its employees who served in the military with pins identifying their branch of service.
"The members of the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office include men and women who have worn the nation’s armed services’ uniform," according to a press release from NCSO. "The common denominator of devotion to selfless service is visible by the cloth of the branch attire they donned and the fabric of the character they hold."
"On this Veterans Day, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office salutes these patriot colleagues. Our gratitude is without limit. This Veteran’s Day, Sheriff James R. Voutour and the Niagara County Law Enforcement Foundation, Inc., want to recognize the nearly 20% of Sheriff's Office employees that currently serve or have served our country in the United States Armed Forces. Beginning November 11, 2014, we proudly recognize those members with military service pins identifying their branch of service."
