Mary Lucille Condon entered into rest on November 9, 2014 at Odd Fellow & Rebekah HCF. Born on June 11, 1934, she was the daughter of Thomas and Katherine (Moody) Condon.
Mary graduated from St. Joseph's Academy in 1951, graduated from Rosary Hill College in 1956 and received her Master's Degree from Canisius College in 1967. She worked for the Buffalo Diocesan School System as a Guidance Counselor for 25 years and later at the Lockport Senior Citizens Center as Program Director for 12 years. She was a member of All Saints Parish. Mary lived in Ireland for 10 years after her retirement. She loved anything Irish, including music, dancing, singing and reading.
Mary is the beloved sister of James (Mary Regan) Condon and Dorothy Condon; cherished aunt of Katherine (Richard) Cavallaro, James M. Condon, Dorothy (Douglas Szpaicher) Frew, Edward (Beverly) Condon, Teresa (John) Slobodzian; dear great-aunt of Megan and Thomas Frew, Jennifer and Jessica Bright, Holly and John Slobodzian, and Kaylea, Brandi and Jackie Condon.
Relatives and friends may call from 2-5 PM on Wednesday at the TAYLOR & REYNOLDS Funeral Home, corner of Transit and Niagara Streets. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM at All Saints Parish, 76 Church St. (Please assemble at church). Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
