ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
So you make the best sugar cookie cutouts, huh? Now's your chance to prove it while benefiting Lockport's homeless shelter.
Market Street Art Studios is holding a Christmas Cookie Contest from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 7 at the studios.
Entrants are asked to make 24 of their best cookies — snowballs, peanut butter kisses, gingerbread, whatever. Divide the cookies evenly onto four four sturdy (paper) plates, clearly labeled with your name, address, phone number and type of cookie, and bring the cookies to the studios by 11 a.m. the date of the contest.
One plate will be judged, while the other three will be sold — with proceeds going to Lockport CARES.
Ribbons will be awarded for first, second and third place.
Entrants must RSVP to confirm their participation by Dec. 1.
