A Song written for Buffalo fans...
it goes like this...
It's all the same... only the players names will ever change The Buffalo Championship hopes... are again wasting away
At our games where the beer is warm... and the seats are... so cold After every game... with embarrassment... we hide inside our home
We are Buffalo fans We want back our... Buffalo Pride Wanted a Championship... while we are alive
Sometimes we weep... sometimes... it's for days We Boo Buffalo teams... for all their losing ways
You can always tell it is game time by the alcohol Buffalo fans must drink Most of us will watch the game at home... because we know our teams will stink.
We are Buffalo fans We want back our... Buffalo Pride Wanted a Championship... while we are alive
Ooh We are Buffalo fans We want back our... Buffalo Pride Wanted a Championship... while we are alive
Before games we stumble around stadium streets with Genesee beer and bottles of green label Jack On game day we get "fall down" drunk and weep Cause our Buffalo teams will never make it back
Oh our Buffalo teams have embarrassed us everywhere at our games drunk with grief some stumble... and fall Our teams have played in Six Championship games... but they have lost them all
We are Buffalo fans We want back our... Buffalo Pride Wanted a Championship... while we are alive
Cause we're Buffalo fans... into beer kegs we dive Wanted a Championship win... while we are alive
Yeah all our heads lowered... and all Buffalo fans cried during Brett Hulls 1999 Stanley Cup... "NO GOAL" slide,
when Scotty Norwood kicked a field goal... but it was wide
Wanted a Championship win ... while we are alive
... while we are alive
... while we are alive
... WHILE WE'RE STILL ALIVE!!!
