Steven F. Brown, 41, 188 South St., Apt. B, was charged Tuesday around 10:40 a.m. with third-degree possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of marijuana. According to the LPD arrest report, patrol happened upon a yelling and pushing match between Brown and a female. When patrol entered Brown's home, he grabbed a yellow bag off a dresser and took it out the back door. It was later determined that the bag contained cocaine and marijuana. He was slated to be in City Court Tuesday morning.

Anthony J. Vanderbosch, 299, 362 Clinton St., Apt. J, was charged around 3:58 p.m. Wednesday with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, driving with a suspended registration and criminal possession of a hypodermic needle. According to his arrest report, Vanderbosh was pulled over for driving with a suspended registration. The passenger and owner of the vehicle, Crystal M. Alexander, 35, 362 Clinton St., Upper Apt., gave patrol permission to search the vehicle. When they did so, they found three hypodermic needles and a spoon in the car. Alexander was also charged with criminal possession of a hypodermic needle. The plates on the car were confiscated, as patrol determined that they did not belong to Vanderbosch or Alexander.

Shawn A. Awtry, 36, 157 Cottage St., Apt. E, was charged around 8:48 p.m. Wednesday with petit larceny. According to the LPD arrest report, Awtry took a pizza that was sitting on the counter of 7-Eleven, 95 South Transit St. Awtry had not paid for the pizza. The value of the pizza was $11.99.

Ronald H. Green, 55, 449 Walnut St., was charged around 9:12 a.m. with second-degree criminal contempt. According to the arrest report, Green had been making unwanted phone calls to a city woman. He was slated for court this morning.
