A web clip released this morning on RedBull.com, shows photos and video of professional wake skaters having fun in the Erie Canal — particularly the Flight of Five.
Professional wake skater Brian Grubb and three-time Wakeskate Tour Champion Andrew Pastura were in Lockport filming the web clip last month when East Niagara Post caught up with the Red Bull film crew.
Pastura, who used to waterski and wakeboard on the Ohio River called the locks "amazing," according to the story on RedBull.com.
The Lockport area has been the benefactor of a lot of national media exposure recently — from filming for an upcoming Hollywood movie entitled "The American Side" at the locks last summer to a filming of a scene from Sharknado 2 earlier this year to the Red Bull web clip last month.
