ENP STAFF REPORTS

RANSOMVILLE — A 34-year-old Olcott man told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies early Saturday morning that he had been assaulted by three men while at a campfire at Ransomville Speedway.
The man told patrol that while sitting at a campfire, an argument started between him and three other men. He said that the three men, Alex Morris, Michael Greenwalt, and Eugene Washburn — no ages or addresses given — all started to physically beat him up by punching and kicking him several times.
Patrol observed a large cut to the back of the complainant's head as well as a large cut to his upper lip. An ambulance responded for medical evaluation and transported him to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
Morris was located and charged with third-degree assault. He was taken to Niagara County Jail and held on $500 bail. Warrants were issued for Greenwalt and Washburn to also be charged with third-degree assault.
