John W. Horan, 34, 255 Niagara St., Apt. C, was charged with reckless driving, leaving the scene of an automobile accident, failure to keep right and improper lane use at about 8 p.m. Friday night. According to the LPD arrest report, police recieved a complaint of a hit and run accident on Walnut Street around 2:27 a.m. Thursday. The complainant said a Jeep Liberty had struck their parked vehicle. Patrol located the vehicle at 255 Niagara St. and eventually got in in contact with Horan, who states that he had left his residence late Wednesday to do laundry but does not remember anything else until waking up the next morning. He is slated to appear in City Court on Monday morning.
Patrick T. Singleton, 37, 2316 Oak Lane, was charged around 4:20 p.m. Friday with first-degree criminal contempt. He is due in City Court on Monday morning.
Brian L. Shellman, 41, 6146 Ketchum Ave., Newfane, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt around 5:27 p.m. Friday. According to the LPD arrest report, Shellman violated a stay-away order earlier Friday afternoon. He was located on North Transit Street and charged. He is due in City Court on Monday.
