TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 23-year-old Lockport man was charged with DWI, speeding and driving an unregistered vehicle on Saturday.
Cameron D. Herlan was seen traveling 18 mph over the posted speed limit on Tonawanda Creek Road in the Town of Lockport, according to New York State Police. While interviewing the driver the Trooper detected a strong odor or alcohol eminating from Herlan. Troopers then had Herlan perform the standard field sobriety tests, which he failed.
Herlan was arrested and transported to SP Lockport where he was processed with a BAC level of 0.14 percent. He was issued tickets returnable for the Town of Lockport Court on a later date.
