BATAVIA — The Lockport Express dropped its second regular season game Saturday night, falling 6-5 to the Wilkes Barre Miners.

The Miners ended up on top of the back-and-forth game with a goal by Derek Bureau with just over a minute left in the game.

The Express had beaten the Miners 5-4 on Friday night, making both teams 1-1 on the season.

The two teams will face off again today at 1 p.m. at Falleti Ice Arena, which is home to the Express for the first weekend of the 2014-2015 season while Cornerstone Arena construction is being completed. The Express will also play a home game on Saturday at Niagara University's Dwyer Arena. Their first home game at Cornerstone is slated for Oct. 4.
