The pyramid formation designed by "The Alternators" Saturday night helped the team climb the greased pole in just over a minute in the 2014 Niagara County Fair Greased Pole Competition..

Some of the team wore swim caps to keep the grease of of their hair. Some team members came away clean while others walked away caked in grease.
Nicole Clapsaddle greased the pole minutes before the ascent.
"The Alternators" were the only team to take part in the contest Saturday night.
