LATHAM — Three New York National Guardsmen from Lockport were recently promoted in recognition of their capability for additional responsibility and leadership.

- Kenneth Nole, serving with the Company A (Engineer), 27th Brigade Special Troops Battalion was promoted to the rank of Private First Class.
- Raymond Ritz, serving with the 105th Military Police Company was promoted to the rank of Specialist.
- Nathan Shanley, serving with the 105th Military Police Company was promoted to the rank of Specialist.
