PAUL SMITHS — Andrew Boyce of Lockport has been named to the dean's list at Paul Smith's College for the spring 2014 semester. Boyce, who is majoring in recreation, adventure travel and ecotourism, earned a semester average of 3.3 or higher to receive this distinction.Boyce was also named an Adirondack Scholar, having achieved a cumulative average of at least 3.8.

Paul Smith's, which was founded in 1946, is the only bachelor's degree-granting institution of higher education in the Adirondacks. Their programs — in fields including hospitality, culinary arts, forestry, natural resources, entrepreneurship and the sciences — draw on industries and resources available in our own backyard while preparing students for successful careers anywhere.
