William J. Wells, 24, 8516 W. Somerset Road, Barker, was charged around 7:50 p.m. Tuesday with criminal possession of a controlled substance, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. According to the LPD arrest report, Wells was stopped while driving a motorcycle on East Avenue and found to be driving with a suspended license. After being taken into custody, he was found to have an illegal .38 caliber revolver concealed under his clothing, as well as a small amount of a controlled substance.
Theresa Petroziello, 41, 96 Ransom St., was charged around 11:16 p.m. Tuesday with DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation, refusing to participate in a field breathalyzer test, and an equipment violation. According to her arrest report, she was seen driving northbound on South Transit Street without headlights. When the vehicle was pulled over, Petroziello was determined to be intoxicated and found to be driving without a valid license. She was released on her own recognizance and ordered to appear in City Court this morning.
