Hundreds came out to watch the game.
Outwater Park was packed Saturday afternoon to watch the return to the diamond for many Lockport great ball players.

Mayor Anne McCaffrey got a surprise singing of "Happy Birthday" from the players and hundreds in the crowd before she officially thanked all involved for the event. WLVL's Norm Palmer happened to announce that it was her birthday, leading to the sing-along.

Starpoint soccer girls showed their entrepreneurship as they brought in a dunk tank for the baseball-crazed fans and softball players.

Young and old jammed the bleachers and lawns chairs to watch what ENP Contributing Photographer Stephen. M Wallace called an "epic battle."

as his great grandson watches on.
Sheriff Jim Voutour hit a lot of  air during the home run derby while Gary Deal showed why you never give up, coming back with 9 out of 10 crushing hits in the second round to win the home run derby.

Jack Dimaggio waited for his pitch during the old timers rally, and he hit a single and would eventually be knocked in for a run.. Mark Devine, a past baseball legend from the 80s, hit a solid stand up double that brought home a number of runs. Bill Harrington, after suffering a severe leg burn injury earlier this month, took first base toward the end of the game.

There's plenty more photos from the game here.
