NCSO Sgt. Gary May examines a .22 caliber gun found in the truck of a Barker man who
was arrested this afternoon.
A Barker man was arrested this afternoon in the 7-Eleven parking lot at the corner of South Transit Street and Park Avenue following a multi-agency pursuit.

Niagara County Sheriff's deputies, New York State Police and Lockport Police arrested him following a complaint from the Barker area. The man's name and specific charges are not being released at this time, according to NCSO Sgt. Gary May.

Police say the man was found with a .22 caliber rifle and a pellet gun in his possession. The guns were removed from a truck that was parked in the convenience store parking lot.

Following the arrest, he was taken to the Town of Somerset Court for arraignment.
