TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 19-year-old Tops employee was charged Sunday afternoon with stealing money from the register at work.
According to the report by the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, Albert S. Winters, 81 South St., was seen taking money from the Tim Horton's register inside Tops on Friday and Saturday. The store manager told patrol that Winters had admitted to him that he had in fact taken $400 from the register.
Winters was charged with petit larceny and released on an appearance ticket to the Town of Lockport Court on Thursday.
