NEWFANE — Niagara County Sheriff's deputies responded to the playground at the Newfane Middle School on Monday, where they found some disturbing graffiti.
According to the incident report, when patrol arrived at the playground shortly after 7 p.m., three juveniles showed them writing that had been written on the playground in what appeared to be marker. The writing stated that the person who wrote it was mad about something said to the them on the Internet. They claimed to be a military sniper and would kill the person they were mad at.
"The writing was very graphic but contained no specific information," according to the report.
Patrol left a message with the Newfane Central School Offices to make them aware of the incident and that a report had been completed.
Patrol considers this case closed due to a lack of specific information unless further information is discovered.
