Amanda E. Zbytek, 23, 9271 Ridge Road, Middleport, was charged around 7:25 p.m. Tuesday with seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance and failure to signal. According to her arrest report, Zybtek was stopped for a traffic infraction and found to have a warrant from the Town of Cheektowaga. A search of her vehicle found a quantity of "xanax bars." A passenger in the vehicle, David M. Piscitello, 23, also of 9271 Ridge Road, Middleport, told patrol the "xanax bars" were his and Zbytek was holding them for him. He was charged with seventh-degree possession as well. The pair were to be in court today.

Michael Shawn Clines, 48, 80 Genesee St., Apt. 4, was charged around 1:15 a.m. with second-degree criminal contempt and second-degree harassment. According to the LPD arrest report, Clines grabbed a woman and threw her to the floor Tuesday night. He was to be in City Court this morning.
