Daniel A. McFadden, 19, 197 Union St., Apt. 4, was charged around 10:54 p.m. Thursday with resisting arrest and obstruction of government administration. According to the arrest report, McFadden was found on an active warrant and ran from patrol in the area of South Street and Works Place. He was found in a back yard on Walnut Street a short while later and taken into custody. He is to appear in City Court on Monday.

Jacob Z. Starcher, 29, 5674 Wendy Circle, Apt. 1B, was charged around 1:15 a.m. Friday with DWI, unlawful possession of marijuana and an equipment violation. According to the arrest report, Starcher was stopped on Main Street for a traffic infraction when police determined him to be intoxicated. A plastic bag containing marijuana was found in the car. A passenger in the vehicle, Connie L. Starcher, also of 5674 Wendy Circle, was charged with resisting arrest after she became belligerent, according to the report. Connie Starcher was subdued with pepper spray. The pair is due in City Court Monday morning.

Kristy J. McCollum, 35, 49 Gabriel Dr., Apt A, was charged around 9:15 p.m. Friday with aggravated unlicensed operation and no inspection. According to the police report, she was stopped on Corinthia Street for not having  valid inspection sticker.

Brandon L. Oliver, 21, 25 Gabriel Dr., Apt A, was charged around 11:30 p.m. Friday with petit larceny. According to the police report, Oliver stole a can of Twisted Tea, valued at $3, from a South Transit Street gas station. He is to be in City Court on Monday.

Steven C. Huston, 47, 150 Gooding St., was charged around 1:15 p.m. Saturday with second-degree harassment. According to the arrest report, Huston was seen by LPD struggling with a female in front of his residence. The woman was attempting to leave and Huston was physically preventing her from doing so, the report said. He is due in City Court on Monday.
