Josiah J. Chandler, 18, 52 Genesee St., was charged Monday morning with unlawful possession of marijuana. According to the arrest report, Chandler had left a pink backpack just outside the City Court room prior to going in. The bag was located, checked, and found to contain marijuana, as well as some clothing, a leather wallet and Chandler's ID. The marijuana was placed into an LPD evidence locker. Chandler was to return to City Court this afternoon.
Lisa M. Boyer, 36, 197 Lock St., Upper Apartment, was charged Monday morning with third-degree assault. According to her arrest report, Boyer is accused of striking a Newfane woman on July 5. Boyer turned herself in on Monday after the woman decided Friday to pursue charges. She was slated for City Court on Monday.
Julia E. Smith, 37, 7603 Chestnut Ridge Road, was charged around 8:30 p.m. Monday with aggravated unlicensed operation and an equipment violation. She is slated to appear in City Court on Wednesday.
Donell D. Lundy, 33, 77 Main St., Apartment 1101, was charged around 1 a.m. with petit larceny, obstruction of government administration and resisting arrest. According to his arrest report, he attempted to steal two Labatt Blue beers and jar of mayonaise from 7-Eleven, 1 Park Ave. When patrol arrived, Lundy was uncooperative, leading to the obstruction and resisting arrest charges. He is slated for City Court Wednesday morning.
